Why We’re Building It
Convenience has changed dramatically over the years.
People can turn on lights, adjust thermostats, play music, check the weather, create shopping lists, and manage parts of their homes without touching a screen.
For Airbnb hosts and short-term rental managers, convenience becomes even more important. Guest checkouts, last-minute bookings, and tight turnover windows can make scheduling cleaning another task that needs immediate attention. Our goal is to make requesting Airbnb cleaning in Chicago even easier. Imagine noticing a new reservation on your calendar and simply saying, “Alexa, ask Quick Cleaning to schedule an Airbnb cleaning.” Voice-enabled booking could eventually give busy hosts a faster way to request turnovers while managing the rest of their property operations.
So we started asking a simple question:
Why shouldn’t booking a cleaning service be that easy too?
For busy Chicago households, professionals, property managers, Airbnb hosts, and anyone juggling a long to-do list, even small conveniences matter.
If you’re cooking dinner, getting the kids ready, working from home, or simply realize your apartment needs cleaning, the ability to start the process with your voice could make booking much easier.
Alexa Won’t Replace the Quick Cleaning Experience
Technology can make booking easier, but the cleaning itself still comes down to people.
Our Alexa integration is being designed as another way to access Quick Cleaning, not a replacement for our existing booking options or customer service.
Customers will still be able to book house cleaning online and communicate with our team as usual.
Alexa simply gives customers another option.

Phone.
And soon…
Voice.
Built With Security in Mind
Customer privacy is an important part of the project.
Our development plans include secure account linking for personalized features. Sensitive information such as passwords, payment credentials, and private account information will not simply be stored inside the Alexa Skill.
We’re also designing the system so that Alexa does not tell a customer an appointment is confirmed until availability has actually been confirmed through our booking system.
What’s Next?
The Quick Cleaning Alexa integration is currently being developed and tested.
There is still work to do before the feature becomes publicly available, including connecting our live booking system, testing different customer requests, completing security configurations, and going through Amazon’s Alexa Skill review process.
But we’re excited about where this is headed.
We’ve been serving Chicago since 2010, and while professional cleaning will always be at the heart of what we do, we believe the experience of getting your home cleaned should continue getting easier.
This is another step in that direction.
